Blueberries in their own juice without cooking for the winter

This option for harvesting berries for the winter, firstly, is very simple and quick to prepare, and secondly, it is suitable for those who, for whatever reason, do not use sugar, but they also do not like blueberries without any sweeteners. ...

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Carefully sort out the berries, taking away not only small debris, but also rotten fruits. It is also advisable to remove the crushed ones, but this is not necessary. For this recipe, the previously frozen blueberries, which you go to process, are also suitable.
step 2 out of 5
Rinse the berries under running water. Do this carefully so as not to damage the fruit. Leave them in a colander for a few minutes, shaking occasionally to drain all the water. You can also additionally dry the berries by spreading them on a towel.
step 3 out of 5
Pour blueberries into a blender bowl and beat until smooth. Sometimes you can interrupt and stir the mass with a spoon, because in many blenders the berries can clog on the sides and not grind.
step 4 out of 5
Add fresh berries to the resulting puree and add honey. Beat everything thoroughly again, try and add more honey or berries if necessary.
step 5 out of 5
Spread the resulting mass in jars, tighten the lid and put it in the refrigerator. Such preparations are not stored as long as berries with sugar or jam, but much longer than just fresh berries.
Bon Appetit!
