Unusual cherry jam

Have you ever tried sweet cherry almond jam? We offer you a recipe for an unusual cherry jam. We will stuff each cherry berry with an almond kernel. As a result of such painstaking work, we will get an incredibly tasty and bright cherry jam with a light tart almond taste and aroma.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
To make the jam, choose a large ripe sweet cherry. We put it in a colander, rinse it under a stream of warm running water and leave it so that the berries drain from the water. Then we remove the stalks and use a pin to extract the seeds from the berries.
step 2 out of 4
In order to peel the almonds from the peel, pour a small amount of water into the multicooker, set the “Multipovar” mode and set 160 degrees, press the “Start” button. Bring the water to a boil, pour almonds into the water and boil for 5-7 minutes. After that, we put the almonds in a colander, let it cool for a couple of minutes and remove the skin from the nuts. We put an almond kernel in each cherry berry.
step 3 out of 4
Put the finished cherries with almonds in a bowl, add sugar, add rum and vanilla sugar, mix and leave overnight at room temperature so that the cherries let the juice out, the sugar dissolves, and the berry is infused with rum.
step 4 out of 4
The next day, pour out the settled syrup into the multicooker bowl, add water, set the “Multipovar” mode, set the temperature to 120 degrees and run the program for 30 minutes. After the multicooker emits a sound signal about the end of the program, add cherries to the bowl with hot syrup, stir, turn on the “Multipovar” program again at 120 degrees and bring the jam to a boil. After that, remove the resulting foam from the jam, boil for another minute and turn off the multicooker. Pour hot jam into sterilized jars and tighten the lids. Pour a little jam into a bowl for tasting. Unusual cherry jam is ready, bon appetit!
