Hunting salad is a great option for an appetizer that will complement any dish. The preparation of this salad using green tomatoes is very successful. Such preparation for the winter will add variety to the diet. Hunting salad will also be able to decorate the festive table, pleasantly surprising the guests with its taste.

Carrots must be peeled, washed and cut into small strips. In this case, you should not use a coarse grater, in this form the carrots will become too soft.

Rinse the bell pepper, cut into two parts, remove the inner partitions with seeds. Cut the pepper itself into small pieces.

Peel the onions and chop with a knife.

Rinse the green tomatoes and then cut into cubes.

We wash fresh cucumbers. If the fruit has a hard skin, then it must be removed. Next, cut the cucumbers into thin strips.

Inspect the white cabbage, remove the top leaves. Then chop it into large pieces.

Combine all prepared ingredients, add salt and garlic passed through a press to them. Stir and leave the vegetables for 60 minutes. After that, put the container with vegetables on moderate heat, bring to a boil. Add vegetable oil and vinegar at the very end. Stir. It's important not to overcook vegetables.

Put the prepared salad in prepared jars and sterilize them in a water bath (0.5 liter jars - within 12 minutes, 1 liter - within 15 minutes). When ready, the hunting salad must be rolled up, wrapped in a warm blanket and completely cooled. Such a blank is stored in a cool and dark place.
