Rhubarb is perfect for making jam, just pair it with some sweet fruit in a pair, for example, an orange. Such jam, of course, is inferior in popularity to traditional raspberry or strawberry jam, but you will get a very unusual preparation that will delight you with its taste.

First, prepare the rhubarb stems. Peel them off the hard outer layer, then cut them into centimeter-thick cubes. Transfer the rhubarb to a saucepan where the jam will be prepared, cover it with sugar. Given the sour taste of rhubarb, you can use more sugar if you want a sweeter taste of the jam.

Peel the orange and cut into cubes.

Place the sliced ​​orange over the rhubarb, finely grate a little orange zest and stir. Leave the mixture for 10 minutes to let the juice stand out.
