Pitted yellow cherry jam

Yellow cherry jam pleases the eye with its rich color, and also has a wonderful sweet mouth-watering taste. It is very easy to prepare a couple of jars of such jam for the winter, following our recipe.

Collect or buy ripe yellow cherries, sort out the berries and rinse them well in running water. Then remove the seeds from the berries, place the berries in a saucepan.

Cook the syrup from granulated sugar and water, leaving two tablespoons of sugar to gel the jam. Pour the syrup over the berries and boil them until boiling.

Combine Zhelix with granulated sugar (two tablespoons) and add the mixture to the jam. Cook, stirring constantly, until it boils.

Add citric acid to boiled cherry jam, as well as vanillin or vanilla to taste.
