A simple and quick recipe for making cherries in syrup. Such a dish is somewhat reminiscent of jam, but it turns out to be even more tasty and aromatic. It stores very well, so you can feast on juicy cherries even in the coldest winter months.

We wash the cherries and let them dry.

Pour sugar into a saucepan, fill it with water and put it on low heat. While stirring, gradually heat the sweet mass.

We cook the syrup until thick, then remove it from the heat.
