Apricot compote and plums in a 3 liter jar for the winter

Did you know that due to the seeds in the fruit, the shelf life of the rolled compote is reduced? That is why it is better to extract them from the fruit during the cooking process. And choose the fruits themselves ripe and dense. Otherwise, the compote will turn out to be unsaturated, and the fruit will turn into porridge.

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Wash the plums, divide them in two with your hands and remove the seeds. If you come across a wormy fruit, throw it away.

Sort the apricots, discard the spoiled fruits. Wash them and cut them in half. Remove the seeds from the fruit.
step 3 out of 7
Place prepared plums and apricots in jars pre-washed with baking soda. In a saucepan, bring about half a liter of water to a boil and pour over the fruit. Cover the jar with a lid and let the fruit heat for about 10 minutes.

While the apricot and plums are warming up, bring the remaining water to a boil. After 10 minutes, drain the infusion from the cans into a saucepan with water.
