Apricot and currant compote

For such a delicious compote, we will blanch fruits and berries, so there is no need for sterilization. The pleasant sourness of currants and the honey sweetness of apricots are in perfect harmony and complement each other.

Wash and sterilize the cans for 7 minutes. Cover them with boiled lids. Wash the apricots and remove the seeds (or leave intact if desired).

Boil water in a large saucepan and immerse a colander with fruit pieces in it for 5-10 seconds. Take out and repeat the operation with the same apricots a few more times, and then do the same with all the other fruits.

Transfer the apricots to a separate bowl.

Rinse the currants and remove branches and debris.

Also blanch the berry in water 2-3 times.

Place berries and fruits in prepared jars for 1/3 of the total volume.
