Lazy stuffed cabbage rolls in a saucepan

Such stuffed cabbage rolls are prepared faster than the classic version with stuffing wrapped in cabbage leaves, but they are not inferior to them in taste and enticing aroma. The dish turns out not in portions, as in the usual version, but all the ingredients are combined and stewed in a saucepan in tomato sauce. The dish is prepared much faster and easier, even a novice cook and a lover of stuffed cabbage can handle it.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Boil rice in salted water. Heat a saucepan with oil and sauté the peeled and chopped onions. Peel, wash and grate the carrots. Put it on the onion, simmer a little for 5 minutes.
step 2 out of 7
Transfer the minced meat to the vegetables and lightly fry, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
step 3 out of 7
Add chopped dill and cooled rice to the minced meat, previously washed and a little dried, and stir.
step 4 out of 7
Remove low-quality and spoiled leaves from cabbage, remove a couple of good leaves and set aside. Chop the vegetable finely.
step 5 out of 7
Place the cabbage in a skillet, lightly drizzled with oil, and simmer over medium heat until soft.
step 6 out of 7
Put the cabbage leaves, half of the stewed cabbage, a layer of minced meat in a deep saucepan on the bottom and cover with a layer of the remaining cabbage, pour over everything with tomato paste combined with water. Put the dish to simmer for 30 minutes over medium heat, covered. If necessary, you can add a little water if it suddenly evaporates. Stir the cabbage rolls gently from time to time.
step 7 out of 7
Place the dish on an individual plate in a slide. The cabbage rolls should be served hot with sour cream.

Bon Appetit!
