Lightly salted cucumbers can be prepared for future use for the winter. It is good if young, small-sized fruits are chosen for such a harvest - they look more attractive and turn out to be tastier. Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Rinse cucumbers thoroughly with running water. We put it in a suitable container and fill it with cold temperature water for a couple of hours. Then we drain the water, and cut off the tips on both sides of the cucumbers.
step 2 out of 5
Put washed currant leaves, cherries, dill umbrellas, black peppercorns, bay leaves, a cut head of garlic and a peeled piece of horseradish in a jar. We put cucumbers in a jar on greens. We try to fit as tightly as possible. We remind you that the indicated amount of cucumbers, spices and herbs is calculated for one can of three liters.
step 3 out of 5
Fill the jar with cucumbers and herbs with boiling water, cover with lids and leave for twenty minutes.
step 4 out of 5
Then we drain the water, for example, into a saucepan. For ease of draining, you can use a special lid with holes.
step 5 out of 5
Add the specified amount of salt, sugar and citric acid to the pan to the water drained from the cucumbers. Place the pot on the stove and bring the mixture to a boil. As soon as the marinade boils, remove it from the stove and pour it into a jar of cucumbers. We roll up the jar with a pre-sterilized lid. Let it cool and put it away in storage.
