Kefir dough without yeast for chicken chicken

Kurnik is a hearty and delicious homemade pastry that will be a great treat for your family and friends. It is with great pleasure that I want to share the recipe for my favorite dough, from which I often cook chicken. The dough, cooked with kefir without yeast, turns out to be unusually airy and light.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Sift the required amount of wheat flour and baking powder into a deep container through a fine sieve, add salt and mix the dry ingredients well.
step 2 out of 4
Then pour in the required amount of kefir at room temperature, break the chicken eggs and mix thoroughly. Kefir can be used with any fat content, it is not essential. Only how much flour the dough will take will depend on the fat content of kefir.
step 3 out of 4
Cut good quality butter into small pieces, place in a container, and melt over a fire, microwave or water bath. Then cool slightly and gradually pour into the dough. Mix well.
step 4 out of 4
Put the prepared dough on a clean work surface of the kitchen counter, knead well, put it in a ball, place it in a bag and put it in the refrigerator for about 25 minutes. Use the rested chilled dough as directed. The dough can be used not only for making kurnik, but also for other homemade baked goods.

Bon Appetit!
