Pitted sweet cherry jam

Cherry is a dense, sweet berry that resembles a cherry. But, unlike the latter, it is lighter in color, sweeter and denser in structure. This berry produces a jam that tastes absolutely magical, delicate, sweet and aromatic. If there is such an opportunity, then it is worth taking a little time to prepare this jam for the winter season.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Collect ripe, aromatic cherries and gently rinse and sort through the berries. You must remove seeds from each fruit, and also select all leaves and stalks. Put the clean berries in a bowl or saucepan for cooking.
step 2 out of 4
Sprinkle the berries in the cooking container with granulated sugar in a ratio of 1 to 1. Sugar and berries must be taken equally, which simplifies the calculations for cooking. Leave the bowl with berries and sugar overnight or for at least five to six hours under cheesecloth in the refrigerator.
step 3 out of 4
In the morning, put a saucepan with sweet cherries on the stove and start cooking the jam. It should boil, and then simmer for five minutes. Be sure to stir the jam while cooking. Allow the jam to cool completely after boiling.
step 4 out of 4
After boiling the cherry jam, you repeat twice more, without missing the cooling point, distribute the workpiece over sterile jars and seal hermetically with lids (screw or for seaming).
