Cut the bread into slices and dry it in the oven. The darker the rusks are, the darker in color the kvass will be. But be careful, if the food burns, the drink will taste bitter. Boil 8 liters of water separately, pour sugar into it and add bread crumbs. We leave the pan to cool.

When the water cools down, take one glass separately from it to pour in the yeast. Then pour this yeast back into the pan. Cover with gauze and keep in a cool dark place for a day and a half. Then we filter the drink and pour it into the cans. Add a little raisins to each jar, cover with lids and put in the refrigerator for knocking.
