Apricots make an amazingly tasty jam, which is used for fillings and interlayers in baked goods and homemade desserts. "Five-minute" is a method of short-term heat treatment, which preserves almost all the useful substances of berries and fruits.

Rinse and dry the apricots well in advance. Cut into 4 pieces and remove the bones. Put the prepared apricots in a large container with a thick bottom, a basin or saucepan.

Cover the apricots with sugar and leave for 4 hours to let the berries start juicing.

After the time has elapsed, put the container with berries on a low heat. Heat the mass until the granulated sugar is completely dissolved, stirring occasionally. Once the sugar has dissolved, bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
